5 years ago in 2019 we both found ourselves in New Zealand. Josh, working in Auckland and Lizzie off gallivanting to visit a friend.
The rest was history. Turns out we had to travel 10,000 miles to meet someone who lived 10 minutes down the road at home.
Back in the UK we spent a lot of time in Rye. Drinking coffee in the old town, swimming and sunbathing at Camber Sands... the closest we could get to New Zealand’s Matarangi.
Last Autumn when looking for a venue we stumbled upon the Cherry Barn. Just down the road from Rye, tucked away on an apple orchard and working family farm.
The perfect spot for our wedding.
Please arrive by 12.30pm for a 1pm ceremony. Evening reception guests arrive from 7pm.
There is plenty of parking on site. Cars can be left overnight and collected the next day.
Rye town is also only 10 minutes away with direct links to London by train.
Taxis to be pre-booked by 12am.
